Fall into Great Skin!

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), I help women improve their diet by focusing on the foods they put into their body to help improve overall health. But it's also really important to pay attention to what we put on our bodies, so I've asked my friend, Connie Gazarian, to write a guest blog about skin care.

As the seasons change, so do our skincare needs. Hot months turn cool, exposing skin to different environmental aggressors. Here are a few easy tips and effective products that will keep your complexion looking fabulous all year long!
If you notice your skin reacting negatively to the seasonal changes, try switching your usual soap for a hydrating cleanser. Wind and cooler temperatures can dry out skin and cause redness and sensitivity. Start by removing your makeup, then use SOOTHE Gentle Cream Wash to combat dry, irritated skin.
Remember the importance of exfoliation. This process is a necessary step for glowing skin, especially in the winter months. A gentle exfoliant helps to remove dead skin cells which in turn allows skin treatments to perform at their greatest efficiency. Hydration, from the inside and out is key as the months become cooler.
